Tim Berners-Lee, who is generally credited with fathering the World Wide Web as we know it, recently spoke at the IPExpo in London. Among the topics he focused on were data privacy and net neutrality, two major issues in the Big Data debate. He is both a champion of personal ownership and control of one's personal data, as well as continued free and open access to the internet and its functionality.
