The Democratic Party has been practicing advanced voter data compiling, analytics and integration for some time, to great effect. The Republican Party has now anounced a partnership between its principal data suppliers that will leapfrog current DNC efforts handled by NGP VAN and Catalist with respect to data gathering and hygiene. Data Trust and i360 will cooperate to create a database of over 190 million voters that will include de-duped and updated records of activity, contributions and attitudes. The coming mid-term election will see the greatest use yet of Big Data to seek out sympathetic voters and get out their votes as a precursor to the 2016 Presidential election.
