The United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled favorably on behalf of broadband providers on the issue of net neutrality. This is the standard to which services like telecommunications providers are held that requires they provide equal access to the system for all. Verizon, Comcast and AT&T may now theoretically favor content they create for broadband consumption or charge more for bandwidth-intensive usage.
