Dealing With Google's Keyword Blocking Strategy

There is no question that the recent move by Google to limit keyword information from analytics reports is a pain. Trying to determine keywords driving SERPs will produce a "Not Provided" overlay. Fortunately there are still ways to determine what is or is not working (probably) and how to generate keyword and optimization ideas through Google Webmaster Tools or Google Trends. This does not obscure the fact that Google's move is motivated by their desire to have online marketers use their paid products such as AdWords.
