The United States Post Office has issued what it is callin a clarification of its Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®). This is meant to maintain the intent of the original rule which aims to keep costs low for direct mail marketers by eliminating the need to forward marketing mail if the named resident has moved.
