Facebook has introduced an option called Anonymous Login which allows users to limit the amount of personal data revealed when they log on to other sites or apps using their Facebook profiles. If chosen, only superficial data such as name and email address will be shared. Facebook will capture this traffic internally for ad targeting purposes. This may support the value of advertising displayed to users on Facebook itself.
